(Press Release- 14-Aug-22, Amman) Flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Amman on 14 August 2022 to mark the Independence Day of Pakistan. A large number of Pakistani community participated along with officers and staff of the Embassy.
H.E. Ambassador Major General Sajjad Ali Khan (Retd) hoisted the national flag with the national anthem in the backdrop. The message of the President on the auspicious occasion was also read out to the audience.
The Ambassador during his remarks urged the community to play a positive role in improving Pakistan-Jordan relations and prayed for the prosperity of the two nations. He also emphasized to keep brothers and sisters in Kashmir in our prayers and reiterated Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris.
